Atta Suji Puri
Fresh Indian fried bread made from wheat flour and Semolina
Serving 4-6 persons
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
1 Cup | Regular Flour |
1 Cup | Soozi (Semolina) |
3 Tablespoon | Oil |
1 Tablespoon | Carom Seeds/ Ajwain |
3 Cups | Cooking oil for frying |
1 Tablespoon | Salt (optional) |
| Water to knead the Dough |
Method
Mix both the flours in a pan to make a dough. Add carom seeds, 2 table spoon of oil and salt to it. Now kneed it by adding water to it.
Dough should be little firmer then we make for regular chapatti.
On the other hand heat the oil in a frying pan.
Make small balls out of the dough and roll them one by one rubbing a little oil to the balls and keeping them aside.
Test the oil if its hot enough by dropping a tiny ball to the oil if it comes to the top right away that means oil is done.
And serve it with any thing you like.
