Tofu Scrambled
Scrambled Tofu with onions and spices
Serving 4-6 persons

Ingredients
250 Grams | Medium Firm Tofu |
1 Medium | Onion |
3 Tablespoons | Tomato Paste |
1 Tablespoons | Ginger Paste |
1 Tablespoon | Finely Chopped Green Chillies |
1 Teaspoon | Garlic Paste |
0.5 Cup | Cooking Oil |
Dry Spices
1 Teaspoon | Cumin Seeds |
1 Teaspoon | Coriander Powder |
1 Teaspoon | Garam Masala |
1 Teaspoon | Turmeric Powder |
1 Teaspoon | Red Chilli Powder |
| Salt To Taste |
For Garnishing
2 Tablespoons | Finely Chopped Green Coriander |
Method
Cut onions length wise and keep them aside. Keep tofu in a bowl and mesh it with your hands and keep it aside.
In a cooking pan heat oil and add cumin seeds when started crackling add onion paste. When the color of the paste start changing add green chili paste, garlic paste and ginger paste. Keep Stirring the paste so it should not catch bottom of the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes at medium flame.
Now add dry spices one by one and add 1/4 cup of water and mix it well and cook for another 2-3 minutes at medium flame
Add tomato paste and cook it on medium flame when the oil starts separating from the paste add meshed tofu.
Stir it for 3 minutes and remove it from the flame.
Now pour in a bowl garnish it with coriander leaves and spring onions. It can be served with paranthas and chapattis.
