Tadka Dahi
Fried Yogurt Mix
Serving 4-6 persons
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
2 Cups | Yogurt |
1 Cup | water |
2 Tablespoons | Green Coriander leaves finely chopped |
1 Tablespoon | Green Chillies Finely Chopped |
| Salt to Taste |
Ingredients for Tadka
2 Tablespoons | Oil |
1 Teaspoon | Cumin Seeds |
0.5 Teaspoon | Turmeric Powder |
0.5 Teaspoon | Garam Masala |
Method
In a frying pan heat the oil and add cumin seeds to it. When it starts turning brown add turmeric powder and garam masala.
Fry it for one minute and remove it from the flame. Keep it aside to cool down.
In a bowl add yogurt and water and mix it smooth. Now add green chilies, coriander leaves and salt and mix it.
If the Tadka fry is cold spread it over the yogurt. The Tadka Dahi is ready to be served with any curry, any vegetable or pilaf.
