Pan baked Indian bread stuffed with Onion

Ingredients For Dough
2 Cups | Wheat flour ( Whole or regular) |
1 Teaspoon | Salt |
| Water to kneed the Dough |
| Oil For Frying the Paranthas |
Ingredients for Filling
1 Large | Red Onion Finely Chopped |
1 Tablespoon | Finely Chopped Green Chillies |
1 Teaspoon | Coriander Powder |
1 Tablespoon | Garam Masala |
1 Teaspoon | Red Chilli Powder |
2 Teaspoons | Finely Chopped Coriander Powder |
| Salt to Taste |
Method
In a Large pan take flour and salt and kneed the dough by adding water into it and keep it aside.
In a large bowl take finely chopped onions and add rest of the filling ingredients to it and mix it well.
Heat tava or griddle on medium high flame.
Make a little bigger than ping pong size balls from the dough. Take one ball roll it flat 4 inches and fill it one table spoon of Onion mix. Now close it into a ball carefully so when you roll it mixture do not come out. Roll it like an pouch and then press in the palms of your both hands.
Roll this flat pouch into a flat parantha and cook it on tava from both sides. Rub oil on one side and fry it well. Now make all the other paranthas following the same steps.
Serve the paranthas hot with yogurt, butter and or pickle.
