Paneer Pakora
Fried Cottage Cheese fritter in Gram flour

Ingredients For Batter
400 Grams | Cheese |
0.5 Cup | Gram Flour |
2 Tablespoons | Corn Flour |
1 Teaspoon | Coriander Powder |
1 Teaspoon | Cumin Powder |
1 Teaspoon | Red Hot Chilli |
1 Tablespoon | Green Chilli Paste |
2 Tablespoons | Green Coriander leaves finely chopped |
| Salt To Taste |
| Water to make Batter |
3 Cups | Oil For Frying Pakoras |
Ingredients for Filling
1 Tablespoon | Cumin Powder |
1 Teaspoon | Coriander Powder |
1 Tablespoons | Mango Powder or Pomegranate Powder |
1 Teaspoon | Salt |
1 Teaspoon | Red Chilli Powder |
For Garnishing
Method
In a Bowl add corn flour, gram flour and all the ingredients to make batter except oil for frying. Add water to it and make smooth batter. There should be no lumps in the batter. Batter should not be too thick or too runny. Now keep this batter aside.
Cut cheese in square pieces and now make a cut in the square pieces to fill the filling in.
In a bowl mix all the ingredients for filling and mix them well.
Heat oil in the frying pan at medium high flame then reduce to medium.
Take one piece of cheese fill it with a little filling mixture and dip in the batter and drop in the frying pan. Make sure the oil is hot enough to fry Pakora. To check it drop a little of batter in the frying pan if it fries instantly that means its ready.
Oil should be hot but not smoky hot.
Fry 3-4 pakora at a time at medium flame. When all the pakora are made sprinkle them with chat masala and serve them hot with tea and chutney or sauce.
