Paneer Parantha
Pan baked Indian bread with cottage cheese stuffing

Ingredients For Dough
2 Cups | Wheat flour ( Whole or regular) |
1 Teaspoon | Salt |
| Oil for Frying Paranthas |
Ingredients for Filling
250 Grams | Indian Cottage Cheese (Paneer) |
1 Medium | Onion Finely Chopped |
1 Teaspoon | Garam Masala |
1 Teaspoon | Coriander Powder |
| Salt To Taste |
1 Tablespoon | Mango Powder or Pomegranate Powder |
1 Tablespoon | Green Chillies Finely Chopped |
2 Tablespoons | Finely Chopped Green Coriander leaves |
Method
In a Large pan take flour and salt and kneed the dough by adding water into it and keep it aside.
In a large bowl mash the cheese into paste and add rest of the filling ingredients to it and mix them well.
Heat tava or griddle on medium high flame.
Make balls from the dough little bigger then the ping pong size ball. Take one ball roll it flat 4 inches and fill it one table spoon of cheese mix. Now close it into a pouch carefully so when you roll it mixture do not come out. Now flat this pouch by pressing with the palms of your hands.
Roll this flat pouch into a flat parantha and cook it on tava from both sides. Rub oil on one side and fry it well.
Now make all the other paranthas following the same steps.
Serve the paranthas hot with yogurt, butter and or pickle.
