Moong Dal Khichadi
Healthy simple Green Bean and rice dish

Ingredients
1 Cup | Split Mung Dal Without Husk |
1 Cup | Regular Thick Rice (No basmati) |
1 Teaspoon | Zeera (Cumin Seeds) |
2 Tablespoons | Cooking Oil (Of Your Choice) |
0.5 Teaspoon | Turmeric Powder (Haldi) Optional |
6 Cups | Water |
| Salt To Taste |
Method
Clean and wash rice and dal seperatly.
In a pressure cooker heat oil add cumin seeds. When cumin change color add turmeric powder and salt.
Add dal , rice and water close the pressure cooker and cook for 10 minutes or till 2 whistle. Remove the cooker from the flame.
Serve it hot with yogurt or with clarified butter (Desi Ghee).
