Serving 2-4 persons
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
0.5 Cup | Mung Bean |
2 Tablespoons | Green Lentil |
2 Tablespoon | Red Lentil |
1 Medium | Onion Finely Chopped ( Optional) |
1 Tablespoon | Ginger Paste |
1 Tablespoon | Finely Chopped Green Chillies |
2 Tablespoon | Finely Chopped Green Coriander leaves |
1 Tablespoon | Coriander Powder |
1 Teaspoon | Sugar |
1 Teaspoon | Red Chili Powder |
1 Tablespoon | Lemon Juice |
| Salt To Taste |
Method
Clean, wash and sock lentils over night. In the morning grind it coarsely.
Now add rest of the ingredients to it and make smooth batter. If it is too thick add some water to it. If by chance it becomes too thin add gram flour to it to adjust the thickness.
Now heat tava or griddle. Rub some oil on the top of tava and pour half cup of mixture over the tava and spread it in circular motion. So the shape becomes round.
If one side is cooked turn over the crepe and cook it from other side too. The flame should be medium.
To check if the one side is done it should turn over easily if still sticks to the tava that means its not done.
Make rest of the crepes following the same steps and serve them hot with pickle or chutney and butter.
