Kalley Chaney Masala
Spice Brown Chick Pea

Ingredients
2 Cups | Boiled Kalley Channey (Brown Chick Pea) |
2 Teaspoon | Ginger Paste |
2 | Chopped Green Chillies |
0.5 Cup | Cooking Oil |
Dry Spices
1 Teaspoon | Cumin Seeds |
1 Teaspoon | Garam Masala |
1 Teaspoon | Turmeric Powder |
1 Teaspoon | Coriander |
2 Pinches | Hing Powder (Asafetida) |
| Salt to Taste |
For Garnishing
2 Tablespoons | Finely Chopped Coriander leaves |
Method
In a large skillet heat the oil. Add hing and then add cumin seeds when they start crackling add add ginger and chopped green chilies and cook it for another 1 minute.
Now add all the dry masalas one by one and cook for 1 minute . Cook masala for 1 minutes at low flame. Then add 1 table spoon of of water.
Now add Kalley Chaney and cook it for 5 minutes and stirring it in between at medium flame.
Remove it from the flame and garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it with puri or prantha.
