Kacha Kaila Fry
Fried Plantain
Serving 4-6 persons

Ingredients
4 Medium | Size Raw Banana/ Plantain |
1 Large | Finely Chopped Onion |
6 | Curry Leaves |
1 Tablespoon | Finely Chopped Green Chillies |
1 Tablespoon | Ginger Paste |
1 Teaspoon | Garlic Paste |
0.5 Cup | Cooking Oil |
2 Tablespoons | Finely Chopped Coriander leaves |
Dry Spices
1 Teaspoon | Cumin Seeds/ Zeera |
1 Gram | Mustard Seeds / Seeds |
1 Teaspoon | Turmeric Powder/ Haldi |
1 Teaspoon | Garam Masala |
1 Teaspoon | Coriander Powder |
2 Tablespoon | Lemon Juice |
| Salt To Taste |
Method
Boil or microwave banana for 10 minutes. Keep them aside to cool down to handle.
When they cool down peel them and cut them in small cubes.
In an frying pan add 2 table spoons of oil heat it and fry banana cubes till they turn golden. Do it in batches adding a little oil each time. When all are done keep them aside.
In a large skillet add oil and heat it. Now add cumin seeds and mustard seeds and fry them when they turn brown add onions and curry leaves to it.
Fry them until onions brown then add green chilli, ginger and garlic paste and fry them for 2 minutes.
Now add garam masala, haldi, coriander powder and salt mix it well and cook it for another 1 minute add fried plantain to it.
Cook it on medium flame for 5 minutes and keep stirring in between.
Remove it from the flame and serve it hot with roti or parantha.
