Green Onion Parantha
Delicious pan baked Indian bread with stuffed green onions

Ingredients for Filling
0.5 Cup | Daliya/Oatmeal/Porridge |
1 Small | Onion |
2 | Finely Chopped Green Chillies |
2 Tablespoons | Finely Chopped Coriander leaves |
1 Tablespoon | Garam Masala |
1 Tablespoon | Coriander Powder |
1 Teaspoon | Red Chili Powder |
1 Teaspoon | Mango Powder |
| Salt to Taste |
0.5 Cup | Oil For Frying Parantha |
Ingredients For Dough
2 Cups | Wheat Flour |
1 Teaspoon | Salt |
| Water to knead the Dough |
| Some Flour for Dusting |
Method
Soak Daliya for 1 hour in hot water. Strain all the water from the daliya nad pat it dry with paper towel.
Mix it with green chillies, coriander leaves, garam masala, mango powder coriander masala and salt.
Take flour in a large open face vessel , add salt and kneed it with adding water little by little.
Now make equal size of balls from the dough.
Take one ball and roll it in a flat chapatti, put one table spoon of filling and close it pulling all the ends of chapatti together.
Dust it with flour and roll it up to 7-8 inches round.
Heat up a tava/ griddle. Put this parantha on tava when tava is hot. Cook it from from side turn it over rob some oil on cooked part.
Now flip it over and rub oil on other side too. Fry it from the both sides.
Now make all the other paranthas following the same steps.
Serve them hot with yogurt, pickle and butter.
