Corn Fry
Side dish made of fried corn beans
Serving 4-6 persons

Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
4 Large | Boiled Potatoes |
1.5 Cups | Tinned Corn |
1 Large | Onion Cut length Wise |
2 Tablespoons | Tomato Paste |
1 Tablespoon | Ginger Paste |
1 Tablespoon | Finely Chopped Green Chillies |
1 Teaspoon | Garlic Paste |
0.5 Cup | Cooking Oil |
Dry Spices
1 Teaspoon | Cumin Seeds |
1 Teaspoon | Garam Masala |
1 Teaspoon | Coriander Powder |
1 Teaspoon | Turmeric Powder |
| Salt to taste |
Method
Peel and dice potatoes in small cubes and set aside.
In a frying pan heat oil. Add Cumin seeds to it when it starts crackling add onions to it.
Fry onions till they turn golden brown then add green chilli, ginger and garlic paste and fry it for another 1-2 minutes. Now add coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt and fry it for another 1-2 minutes.
Now add tomato paste to it cook it for another 1 minute and add 1 cup of water mix it well and add potatoes and corn to it.
Now cover the pan and cook them at medium flame for another 5 minutes so potatoes get mixed well with masala. Keep stirring them in between.
Remove it from the flame garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it hot with parantha or chapatti.
