Bhindi Fry
Pan fried Okra
Serving 4-6 persons

Ingredients
1 Pound | Bhindi (Okra) |
1 Large | Finely Chopped Onion |
1 Tablespoon | Finely Chopped Green Chillies |
1 Tablespoon | Ginger Paste |
1 Teaspoon | Garlic Paste |
3 Tablespoons | Cooking Oil |
2 Tablespoons | Finely Chopped Coriander leaves |
Dry Spices
1 Teaspoon | Cumin Seeds/ Zeera |
1 Teaspoon | Turmeric Powder/ Haldi |
1 Teaspoon | Garam Masala |
1 Teaspoon | Coriander Powder |
1 Tablespoon | Lemon Juice |
| Salt to Taste |
Method
Wash and dry okra. Cut it in small round pieces.
In a large skillet add oil and heat it. Now add cumin seeds and fry them when they turn brown add onions to it.
Fry them till they turn brown then add green chilli, ginger and garlic paste and fry them for 2 minutes.
Now add garam masala, haldi, coriander powder and salt mix it well and cook it for another 1 minute add okra to it.
Cook it on medium flame and keep stirring in between.
It will be done in approximately 15-20 minutes. Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it hot with roti or parantha.
