Allo Payaj Pakora
Potato and Onion fritter in Gram flour

Ingredients
1.5 Cup | Besan (Gram Flour) |
2 Large | Thinly Sliced Potato |
1 Large | Onion |
3 | Chopped Green Chillies |
1 Teaspoon | Coriander Powder |
1 Tablespoon | Garam Masala |
1 Tablespoon | Finely Chopped Coriander leaves |
1 Teaspoon | Mango Powder (Optional) |
1 Tablespoon | Chat Masala |
2 Cups | Oil to fry the pakoras |
| Salt To Taste |
Method
Wash the potatoes and keep them aside. Now peel and cut onions length wise.
Now in a bowl add besan, green chili, coriander powder, garam masala, Finely chopped coriander leaves and mix it with water and make batter. Add salt to the batter. Batter should not be too runny or too thick.
Now Heat a oil in an frying pan. Drop a little of batter if it comes up right away that means oil is perfect.
Now dip potatoes and onions together in the batter and drop them in to the frying pan in batches do not over crowd them and fry them on medium high flame.
When they are all done serve them in a serving plate and sprinkle chat masala on top of pakoras and serve them with imly (Tamarind) ki chutney and puddiney (Mint) ki chutney and Masala Tea.
